FDA Launches Reportable Food Registry Portal
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has launched the Reportable Food Registry, designed to prevent food-borne illnesses in humans or animals. FDA must be notified within 24 hours if a food facility that manufactures, processes or holds food for consumption finds through its own processes that a food might sicken or kill a human or an animal.
